Media Representation

Research

When I researched the term 'media representation' online I found that all media texts are re-presentations of reality. This means that the producers create their re-presentation of the real world; they show us one version of reality, not all of reality. The producer is looking at how a certain audience would prefer their look into reality, in another words the creator is picking a certain media type so that his audience can get and grasp his topic. 'Media Representation Theory'

My Definition

After researching 'media representation' my understanding of it is that the author creates a piece of work to show his audience what his perception of that certain topic is.
